Saignée is a French word which means “to bleed”. This estate grown wine is made from bleeding the free run of our Cabernet juice, producing a darker, bolder, more intense Rosé. This juice is then barrel fermented and aged for three months in oak to give the wine structure.
The Cherry Tree Hill Sparkling Rosé is fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and slight hints of rose petals. On the palate this wine has elegant bubbles and refreshing acidity, offering alluring flavours of delicate red berries and white fruits that linger through the finish
