Saignée is a French word which means “to bleed”. This estate grown wine is made from bleeding the free run of our Cabernet juice, producing a darker, bolder, more intense Rosé. This juice is then barrel fermented and aged for three months in oak to give the wine structure.
This elegant Methode Traditionelle is dry and crisp, with delicate creamy characters developed from 5 years on lees. Made from 45% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier. Has previosly medalled in the Sydney Royal Wine Show and is tasting magnificent now. This wine will give most French Champagns a run for their money!!
