This Cabernet Merlot is the best red ever produced at Cherry Tree Hill. Due to the ripeness of fruit in 2016 this wine was aged in old oak barrels for 18 months, letting the wine just do its thing. A magnificent example of a cool climate blend.

Description
Deepish red colour with a good tint of purple. The bouquet is fragrant and pretty, with raspberry, dried flower/pot-pourri and blackcurrant aromas. It's elegantly-structured and finely-textured, with good line and length if not great weight or amplitude. A wine of elegance and subtlety, delicious to drink.
